Kiwi Drug operates from a large New Zealand pharmacy store that has been established for over 35 years. As a New Zealand pharmacy, we are members of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand, the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand and the Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand. Our New Zealand pharmacy is audited on a regular basis by Medsafe (the New Zealand medicines control authority), in accordance with the laws of operating a New Zealand pharmacy. You can be safe in the assurance that our pharmacy has passed all the requirements of the Medsafe authority.
As a fully registered New Zealand pharmacy, we are members of the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand. The Pharmacy Council was established under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 and has a duty to protect the public and promote good pharmacist practice. The Pharmacy Council is responsible for registration of pharmacists, the setting of standards for pharmacists’ education, scopes of practice and conduct.
