Of all the treatments for hair loss, Rogaine is perhaps the most promising and at the same time, the most controversial. Recently, Upjohn, the manufacturer of Rogaine received approval from the U.S. government to sell Rogaine As An Over-the-Counter Drug without prescription.
But does it really work?
The Hair Loss Information Center is conducting an experiment using Rogaine. If you are already using Rogaine, or if you’ve wanted to try it, we want to find out what your experience is with this treatment.
The Rogaine Effectiveness Experiment
In fact, we’re willing to make it quite easy for you to try Rogaine, if you will supply us with the information we need through our online experiment.

Buy Rogaine and Get A Free Evaluation
A regional representative of the Hair Loss Information Center will contact you to arrange for you to receive a one month supply of Rogaine. You will be asked to pay $29.95, the retail cost of the Rogaine and you will also receive a free evaluation of the condition of your scalp prior to the first application of Rogaine while you’re at the Center. You will receive instructions on how to make future applications of Rogaine. Then a photograph of your head will be taken, to be put on file as the control sample for the experiment. The Center’s representative will also require that you make an appointment to return to the Center in a month to evaluate your progress.
During the month long experiment, you are encouraged to send us email of your own observations at hairloss@iacopharmacy.com. Do you notice any hair growth? Did the rogaine slow down the rate of your hair loss?
We will publish the results of this experiment once we’ve had a chance to tabulate a significant number of completed evaluations. So come back to this site from time to time to see what has happened.
